Hyundai Fuel Drain

ABOUT

Filling up with Diesel in a Petrol Hyundai is a regular error. And its remedy varies according to several factors. In case you want to find out what you should do to fix it then keep on reading.
These are the main variables to be aware of whenever choosing whether to get your car drained:

  1. What level of Diesel have you put in the Hyundai, bearing in mind that the fuel capacity of your Hyundai H-1 Starex is usually around 65 litres?
    1. A tiny quantity of Diesel, something like 3.25 litres of Diesel in a Petrol H-1 Starex will typically not really be a massive problem. Experience has taught us that quantities under 3.25 litres (almost 5% of the total fuel tank) is often capable of being completely diluted by means of wholly filling up the rest of the tank with Petrol.
It is relatively unusual to encounter a car suffering from difficulties because of under 5% incorrect fuel contamination. Do not forget that it's infrequently found - not impossible to encounter. You can get some motor vehicles that won't stand any amount of fuel contamination at all.
    2. Somewhere between 3.25 and 6.5 litres of Diesel in the Hyundai (from 5 to 10%) is really a 50/50 condition. Our experience has confirmed that as many drivers get away with it as those who break down. Whenever deciding upon whether to risk it and just top it up bear in mind that it is much like wagering it all on black - you have got a 50/50 chance of it working out.
    3. Anything more than 6.5 litres of Diesel in your Petrol H-1 Starex really should straightaway be drained because your likelihood of getting away with this level of contamination is certainly less than one in 50 - seriously huge odds.
  2. Put some Diesel in a Petrol Hyundai and drove it: Have you seen any kind of performance problems since putting the wrong fuel in your H-1 Starex? If you have, have it drained irrespective of the volume of Diesel or even the contamination ratio. Still running an automobile that is currently beginning to suffer from the effects of wrong fuel contamination will likely cause increasing amounts of damage being caused to the fuel system parts.
  3. Are you interested in security?
You should get it removed. No matter the contamination ratio, there is always some degree of threat resulting from operating a Petrol vehicle on Petrol contaminated with the incorrect fuel. Probable final outcomes of driving on the wrong fuel can include the engine refusing to start, running unevenly, losing power, wearing of the high-pressure pump, worn out or blocked injectors, and the like. These are a few of the commonest Diesel in Petrol symptoms, and if you observe any of them stop and have it drained right now.
