Suzuki Fuel Drain

ABOUT

Putting Diesel in a Petrol Suzuki is a regularly occurring mistake. And what you want to do about it hinges on a number of factors. Assuming you would like to know what to do to sort it out then please read on.
Let us discuss the most important variables to think about when choosing whether to get it drained:

  1. What level of Diesel have you put in the Suzuki, taking into consideration that the fuel tank capacity of the Suzuki Sx4 is probably about 50 litres?
    1. A tiny quantity of Diesel, something like 2.5 litres of Diesel in a Petrol Sx4 will usually not be a major problem. Experience has shown us that anything less than 2.5 litres (approximately 5% of the overall fuel tank volume) is frequently capable of being completely diluted through totally filling up the tank with Petrol.
It's highly rare to come across a car going through difficulties due to under 5% incorrect fuel contamination. Bear in mind that it is unusual - not impossible to find. There are actually a number of cars that won't endure any degree of fuel contamination whatsoever.
    2. In between 2.5 and 5 litres of Diesel in the Suzuki (5 to 10%) is a 50/50 situation. Our expertise demonstrates that as many drivers get away with it as all those who break down. Any time you are trying to decide whether to chance it and basically top it up bear in mind that it is the same as betting it all on black - you will have a 50/50 possibility of it working out.
    3. Anything over 5 litres of Diesel in your Petrol Sx4 should really immediately be removed as your likelihood of succeeding with this quantity of contamination is certainly below one in fifty - definitely big odds.
  2. Put Diesel in a Petrol Suzuki and drove it: Have you detected any performance troubles ever since putting the wrong fuel in your Sx4? If you have, have it drained no matter the quantity of Diesel or even the contamination ratio. Continuing to drive running a vehicle that is starting to suffer the effect of wrong fuel contamination can only bring about more harm being done to your fuel system.
  3. Do you want security?
In that case get it drained. Whatever the contamination ratio, there is always some degree of danger linked with running a Petrol motor on fuel contaminated with Diesel. Possible final outcomes of driving a car on the wrong fuel include the motor refusing to start, running unevenly, loss of power, wearing of the high-pressure pump, damaged or blocked injectors, and the like. These are several of the most frequently seen Diesel in Petrol signs or symptoms, and should you detect any of them stop driving and have it removed as soon as possible.

Don't simply have any general so-and-so to try to drain your vehicle. We are Suzuki experts and have got the skills and knowledge required to make sure that you get back on the road with minimal hassle or worry.
