Started the car with wrong fuel in your SsangYong Rexton?
Wrong fuel in your SsangYong Rexton only begins to reach the motor after it is drawn from your tank, which is exactly what starting your motor does. In a diesel engine, your fuel oils the injectors and the injection pump on its way past. With petrol diluting the diesel, that protection goes, and driving any distance on it is then what can cause harm.
Pull over in a safe place and switch off when your Rexton has already been driven. We can still deal with it, by emptying the tank and rinsing the pipes and your filter till all of the tainted fuel is cleared. Permanent harm is very rare if it is caught soon and given a thorough clean.

AdBlue in a diesel SsangYong Rexton by mistake
Some diesel cars hold a blend of water and urea, called AdBlue, in a tank of its own with a dedicated filler, and use it to treat their exhaust. Even to move your vehicle, don't touch your key when you have AdBlue in a diesel SsangYong Rexton after it went into the wrong filler.
AdBlue settles to the base of the tank, where the pump draws its fuel from, as it will not mix with diesel. Being largely water, it cannot ignite and gives the fuel pump no lubrication, and your diesel in a tank holding up to 80 litres does not weaken it as it would petrol.
However small the amount, some of it is drawn into the line. Once the water evaporates, the urea forms crystals in your fuel system, including the fuel filter and injectors, and it corrodes the metal it sits against.
The same filler flap frequently hides both fillers, and where your Rexton has an AdBlue filler, it may well be beside the diesel one. AdBlue caps are typically blue and fit a far smaller nozzle than diesel.
